James Squires, Managing Director

James launched Austin Banks in January 2004, initially working from home. The company grew quickly and moved into commercial premises in September of the same year, taking on its first member of staff. Since then, Austin Banks has grown from strength to strength and now works with many of the region’s top employers. James is 34 years old and lives in Sprotbrough with his fiancé and two children. He enjoys spending time with his children, eating out, travel and reading non-fiction.

Louise Selfe, Senior Consultant

Originally from Luton, Louise joined Austin Banks in March 2005 after studying and working in Sheffield. Louise is James's business partner and better half and has eight years experience in the recruitment industry. Louise was instrumental in establishing our successful key accounts division which looks after some of Austin Banks’ largest clients. She enjoys music festivals, spending time with her sons & reading novels.

Sommer Lindley, Senior Consultant

Sommer joined Austin Banks in October 2008 to head up our sales & marketing division, recruiting for senior level professionals in this sector. Sommer was born and raised in Doncaster and has 9 years recruitment experience. Her tenacity and determination to deliver results for her clients have been instrumental to her success. She prides herself on establishing strong and lasting business relationships with her clients. Sommer enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking and holidays.

Jodie Pappalardo, Senior Consultant

Jodie joined our Engineering & Manufacturing division in June 2011. She has an excellent track record in recruitment, being a top performer in her last company. Jodie specialises in sourcing talent from the hidden candidate market via her professional network and often represents candidates exclusively. Outside work, she enjoys spending time with her family, having a drink with friends and working out.

Yvonne Waterhouse, Accountant

Yvonne joined Austin Banks in Spring 2010 to handle the accountancy and payroll functions of the business. Yvonne is an ACCA qualified accountant with over 20 years experience and brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the business. One of her big passions is football but she also enjoys supporting her teenage sons who regularly compete in national swimming events.

Karen Enwright, Administrator/Resourcer

Karen was born in London and raised in Doncaster. She joined Austin Banks in August 2006. Since joining the company, Karen has played an integral role in the day to day running of the Austin Banks back office. She is a highly valued member of the team who cares about the quality of her work and the smooth running of the business. Karen likes going to the pub, downloading and listening to a variety of music, reading novels and art.

Andrew Jopling, Administrator/Resourcer

Andrew originates from Doncaster and joined Austin Banks in May 2010 to provide IT and administrative support to the team. Andrew is our "go to" guy for any technical problems - in fact any problems at all! He is an avid reader and enjoys climbing, hiking and the occasional glass of single malt whiskey in his spare time.
