Our client is a market leader in the design, supply, installation and maintenance of bespoke fall protection and access systems, with a network of offices spanning Northern Europe.
Our growth strategy has created an opportunity for an ambitious Sales Estimator. The position will suit an individual that has a proven track record in B2B sales of installed fall protection systems into the construction and roofing sectors in the UK with a focus on the SE and London region.
Reporting to the Sales & Pre-Construction Director, you will actively seek new business within the sector and be responsible for communicating the benefits of safety at height in order to drive sales. We are looking for a results-driven Sales Estimator with excellent interpersonal skills to actively seek out and engage customer prospects, and who is both self-motivated and able to work on their own initiative but is also an active team member with an interest in the whole business performance not just their own sales target.
Key responsibilities and duties:- Present, promote and sell products/services to existing and prospective customers
- Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
- Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
- Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximise satisfaction
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
- Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
- Analyse the market’s potential, track sales and status reports
- Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
- Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
- Continuously improve through feedback
