Key Account Manager/ Sales Support Manager / Client Relationship
This is an exciting opportunity to join a company based in the UK and dealing with clients all across Europe.
An internal role, dealing with key accounts on a daily basis, you will be responsible for managing orders, making sure everything is shipped on time, the day to day relationship with clients and any issues that may arise.
This is a standalone role supporting the sales team.
You will work closely with all internal departments including sales, purchasing, shipping, and warehouse.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a proven track record in building client relationships, managing existing accounts and seeing processes through from start to finish.
You must be available for interview week commencing the 2nd October
Order Processing: Receiving and processes all purchase orders (phone, fax, mail, email) from customers and confirming of product, pricing, ship to address, ship method and requested ship date; entering the order into Oracle; follow up of orders and ship dates; and providing updates to customers; approves sales orders before they go to production; checks all printer orders prepared by salespersons for accuracy to ensure the configuration is a legal combination; proofreads orders to avoid production errors and delays; determines from Manufacturing the shipping schedule and communicates same to customer; notifies customer of all significant changes to a committed ship schedule.
Problem Solving: Researches and handles any discrepancies or problems such as credit issues, miss-shipments, short-shipments
Pre-Sales Inquiries: Responds by telephone/fax/email/mail to customer or prospective customer requests for product information; keeps CRM records of inquiries and sales.
Post Sales Inquiries: Tracks orders and responds to all customer inquiries about orders and products.
Phone Queue and Sales Mailbox: Manages the phone queue and sales mailbox for incoming inquiries and orders. Distributes inquiries properly and efficiently.
Sales Support: Supports the sales team by preparing quotes and performing administrative functions for traveling team members.
Generating various sales reports on a regular basis for distribution to both divisional and corporate management. These reports provide critical information such as: daily sales, daily shipment, month-to-date totals and year-to-date totals. Required to effectively manage the database for all the sales order reports and assist with the development of programs needed to prepare these informational reports. Makes entries into the sales database for all inquiries, customer sales and supply orders and helps to maintain this data base for all assigned customers and territories.
Associate’s Degree in Business or some college education
Minimum of 3years of administrative support/order processing
Proficient using word processing, database entry, ERP, CRM and spreadsheet software.
Excellent communications skills, oral and written, a pleasant, professional telephone manner and solid organizational and planning skills. Must possess a positive attitude, have excellent interpersonal skills, be a team player and be confident on the telephone.
