Senior Project Manager - Steel/Metal Industry 

London and Southeast

Hybrid Working; 3-4 Days On-Site Or From The Office

 

  • Do you have experience managing a project working for a specialist sub-contractor
  • Do you have experience in architectural metal work, steel structures, cladding, HVAC or similar
  • Can you demonstrate a track record of successfully managing construction projects ranging from £200k to £5 million+ in value?
  •     Experience in managing multiple projects
  •     Do you have experience actively implementing strategies and maintaining strict health and safety regulations during major construction projects?

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be required to

  •    Oversee the management and performance of major construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification.
  •    Manage health and safety compliance, including preparing project-specific RAMs and H&S paperwork.
  •      Plan and monitor project progress, negotiate with clients on job programs, and manage procurement schedules.
  •    Collaborate with the commercial team to monitor job costs and ensure contractual compliance.
  •    Foster client relations and manage workforce operations to maintain project efficiency and quality standards.

Candidate:

  •    Proven experience managing construction projects valued between £200k to £5 million+
  •    Demonstrated ability to ensure strict compliance with health and safety regulations throughout project execution.
  •    Proficiency in MS Office suite and ideally experienced with BIM software.
  •    Full clean driving license.
  •    Strong attention to detail and a high standard of finishing.
  •    Familiarity with JCT and NEC contracts.
  •      Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  •    Ability to lead and manage integrated, collaborative teams to achieve project success.
  •    Degree or postgraduate qualification in construction management or related field preferred.
  •    Health and Safety qualifications are desirable but not essential.
