Days: 8:30am – 5pm (Mon–Thu), 8am – 1pm (Fri) | Nights also available

Benefits Package:

• £17.20 per hour on days
• £21.50 per hour on nights
• 12-week temporary to permanent opportunity
• Either permanent days or permanent nights positions available

As a Plater/Fabricator you will be required to:

• Measure and mark out plate and sections for cutting, shaping and drilling
• Interpret engineering drawings for parts to be fabricated/welded
• Carry out dimensional checks
• Use press brakes, guillotines and other production machinery
• Work with 6mm – 60mm plate sizes
• Ensure tolerances and parameters are met to satisfy quality and output

Candidate:

• Ideally apprentice trained or time served equivalent
• Must be experienced in MIG welding
• Experienced with 6mm up to 60mm plate sizes and fillet welds
• Competent with press brake, saws, drills, grinders and other workshop machinery
