Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 DOE
- What relevant experience do you have within the Construction Industry, particularly in fabrication drawing or architectural metalwork?
- How proficient are you in 2D AutoCAD, and do you have any experience with 3D AutoCAD, Inventor, or Revit?

As a Senior Designer you will be required to:
- Interpret customer requirements via communication with the sales department and clients to produce design approval drawings
- Liaise and communicate with contractors and architects to understand project deliverables and design programme requirements
- Interpret design standards and regulations to inform design proposals
- Liaise with engineers to inform and substantiate design proposals
- Lead projects through the design phase, liaising with relevant Managers for design information
- Produce detailed fabrication drawings for manufacture
- Liaise with fabricators during manufacturing to ensure design accuracy
- Analyse and arrive at cost-effective solutions
- Perform general drawing office administrative duties
- Attend design meetings at site, client offices, or via video conference as required
Candidate:
- 2D AutoCAD – Essential. 3D AutoCAD/Inventor/Revit – Advantageous
- Proven design experience in the Construction Industry
- Background in fabrication drawing, ideally in steel fabrication / architectural metalwork
- Experience with design standards
- Knowledge of manufacturing technologies, processes, and installation procedures
- Familiarity with in-house systems and drawing office procedures
- Strong communication skills (phone/email)
- Ability to meet deadlines and work to programme
- Positive, ‘can-do’ attitude and works well under pressure
- Willingness to go above and beyond for high-level results
- Site surveying experience – Advantageous
- Strong team mentality
