1. Do you have experience maintaining heavy plant machinery or similar equipment?
2. Are you NVQ Level 2-3 / City & Guilds qualified in Plant Machinery or equivalent?

As a Plant Fitter you will be required to:

• Service and maintain a fleet of heavy plant machinery used on a waste processing site
• Perform electrical fault finding
• Understand and work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Carry out reactive repairs, including on forklifts and other heavy plant
• Work to strict maintenance schedules and deadlines
• Perform MIG and STICK welding as needed
• Communicate clearly with the site team and management
• Maintain cleanliness and standards in staff facilities
• Take part in site inductions, SHEQ briefings, Toolbox Talks, and relevant communications
• Support the company’s strategic and quality objectives
• Assist in ISO accreditation activities

Candidate:

• NVQ Level 2-3 / City & Guilds in Plant Machinery or equivalent

• Hardworking, enthusiastic and reliable

   

• Flexible with working hours and willing to work overtime

   

• Capable of working in a small but growing team in a fast-paced environment

   

• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems

   

• MIG & Stick welding experience
