As a Solar Panel Installer, you will be required to:

• Accurately install solar PV panels, mounting rails and associated roof fixtures to domestic properties in line with design specifications and industry standards.
• Safely work at height and on various roof types (tiles, slates, metal etc.) using appropriate PPE and fall-arrest systems.
• Prepare roofs and ensure all roofing and weatherproofing works maintain the structural integrity and water tightness of the property.
• Accurately position and secure mounting systems according to load and alignment requirements.
• Work collaboratively with electrical technicians to ensure solar panels and inverters are correctly integrated into the property’s electrical system.
• Represent the company professionally when on-site with customers, explain installation steps if required and answer basic questions.
• Maintain clean and tidy work areas, both during and after installation.

The ideal candidate will be:

• Proven experience in solar installation or a closely related field.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and basic wiring is highly desirable.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work under pressure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment and work at heights.
