Due to business growth, we are seeking a Warehouse Manager to take full responsibility for stock control, ERP system accuracy, and goods-in operations. This is a hands-on role ensuring stock is accurate, well managed, and available to support the wider business.

As a Warehouse Manager you will be responsible for:

·     Take full ownership of stock accuracy within the ERP system (stock, WIP, returns, locations, serial numbers).

·     Ensure all goods in, transfers, returns, and work orders are recorded correctly and on time.

·     Manage goods-in processes: checking, labelling, receipting, and booking deliveries.

·     Maintain minimum and maximum stock levels and raise purchase orders when required.

·     Be the main point of responsibility for stock discrepancies and system errors.

·     Work closely with Purchasing and Quality to resolve supplier issues (shortages, errors, quality).

·     Support picking and packing when needed to keep operations running smoothly.

·     Maintain a safe, clean, and organised warehouse environment.

·     Complete stock reports, including monthly stock valuation and WIP.

·     Carry out stock takes twice per year and investigate discrepancies.

·     Highlight stock risks, shortages, and slow-moving items.

 

The ideal candidate will be:

·     At least 2 years’ experience in a warehouse environment

·     Strong organisation and time management skills

·     High attention to detail, especially with stock accuracy

·     Good communication skills

·     IT literate, comfortable using ERP or stock systems

·     Hands-on, reliable, and proactive approach

·     Strong awareness of health and safety

 

Desirable

·      Experience within construction, engineering or working-at-height sectors

·      Forklift licence

·      IPAF or ladder training

·      Exposure to WIP environments or stock ownership roles
