We're looking for a driven Sales Executive, with proven experience within the security and fire sector. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive sales professional who thrives on winning new business while building long-term client relationships across commercial, public sector, industrial, education, healthcare, retail, and hospitality markets.
As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across target markets.
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts through regular engagement and account reviews.
- Recommend compliant, innovative, and cost-effective fire and security solutions.
- Prepare quotations, specifications, proposals, and tender submissions.
- Present technical and commercial solutions to customers and stakeholders.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial agreements.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales and gross margin targets.
- Promote planned preventative maintenance (PPM), monitoring, and support contracts.
- Identify opportunities for system upgrades, technology refreshes, and cross-selling.
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecasts using the company CRM system.
- Work closely with engineering, design, project management, and service teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Stay informed of new technologies, legislation, and industry standards.
- Represent the company at exhibitions, networking events, and client meetings.
- Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the sales lifecycle.
The ideal candidate will be:
· Proven sales experience within the fire and electronic security industry.
· Strong knowledge of integrated security solutions.
· Experience selling to commercial and public sector organisations.
· Demonstrable success in business development and account management.
· Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
· Commercial awareness with strong financial understanding.
· Experience preparing quotations, tenders, and technical proposals.
· Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
· Full UK driving licence.
