Electrician Lead / Supervisor

Due to continued growth, our client is expanding its electrical team and is seeking a motivated and experienced Electrician Lead/Supervisor. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional with commercial electrical experience to join a dynamic and fast-growing department.

 

The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing electrical projects from design through to completion, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

·        Lead and supervise a small team of engineers, providing daily direction and support

·        Manage and carry out commercial electrical installations

·        Oversee projects from initial design to final completion

·        Ensure compliance with all safety standards and quality requirements

·        Conduct regular safety and quality audits

·        Report weekly to the Head of Department on project progress, team performance, and any issues

·        Support the Electrical Manager with planning, organising, and operational activities

·        Assist with procurement of materials and coordination of subcontractors

·        Carry out inspections and testing to ensure compliance with industry regulations

·        Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues as they arise

·        Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure successful project delivery

 

Requirements

·        Proven experience in commercial electrical installations

·        Strong knowledge of electrical systems and current regulations

·        Understanding of security systems (e.g. door access, CCTV, intruder alarms) is desirable

·        2391-52 Testing and Inspection qualification preferred

·        Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to motivate and manage a team

·        Strong project management skills with a focus on safety and quality

·        Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

·        Full clean UK Driving licence

·        Willingness to travel and work away from home when required
